Building Health with Food
March 4, 2026
Live on Zoom
7:30-9:30pm eastern
There is no one right diet for everyone, but nutrient dense foods should be foundational in any diet. This class looks at nutrition as a way to support the body rather than a set of rigid rules to follow. We’ll talk about the basics of nourishment, including macronutrients, nutrient density, relationship with food and how food choices affect energy, mood, digestion, and metabolism.
You’ll leave with a practical understanding of how to feed yourself in a way that works for your body and your life. Herbal tools, such as bitters and digestive teas, are introduced as simple supports that can help the body engage more fully with food.
This class is offered both in-person and online and is part of the Building Health series, though it can be attended on its own. Classes are donation-based, with a suggested range of $0–$25 depending on your financial situation. If you’re able, you’re welcome to pay it forward by donating more to help keep the series accessible. Online students will receive a donation link at the beginning of class. In-person attendees please register in advance using the separate sign-up link HERE so we can get an accurate headcount.
